My Sweet Sam Brody

My sweet little Sam,
You and I have made it almost 21 weeks now. I constantly expected my body to fail me when we first started this amazing journey sometimes I still get scared but I just feel like i'm constantly praying for you. I think everyone who loves you is constantly praying for you. You have no idea how loved you are. I don't know that you ever will understand, Lord knows I can't even understand the love I have for you! Everyone always use to tell me you dont understand true love until you have a kid--it use to offend me. Like I couldn't know that deep of a love just because i'm not a mother? Now I get it. You aren't even here yet and the love for you from myself and our families/friends is incredible. We got to see you last week(August 1st) on a 3d ultrasound. You are ALREADY the most handsome, precious, perfect little baby i've ever seen. You posed for us..clearly Ashley is your Aunt! Your Grandma Kitty and Nana came with us to see you for the first time on that ultrasound. You were soo calm for the sonogram, which surprised me because you were soo wound up for the gender ultrasound! You are like your mommy, not a morning person. I get it, don't worry...just remember that when you get here, you like to sleep in ok?? haha!
You have been kicking me and rolling around like crazy. It doesn't matter what kind of day i'm having as soon as you start up with that I just stop what i'm doing and relish in the moment. Your dad can feel and see your kicks too! You amaze us. From the very beginning you've amazed us! You have a fighters heart and i'm so grateful and still in disbelief that God chose us to be your parents. I'll never be more grateful for anything.
We are starting on your nursery soon, i've got big plans for it but we can't start on anything until we rip up the carpet. We are hoping to have that done in a few weeks!
Your brother Braxi is having a bit of a time adjusting. I think he realizes something is up and he is mad at me! He will love you though, he will be protective and have a ball with you.
We are all so anxious to meet you, but continue to cook sweet boy. We will be patiently waiting for you.

Your car seat cover was delivered last week. I LOVE it. Especially the elastic bottom, around here with our wind, it'll be much appreciated in the winter and will keep you warm and cozy.
