Pinterest Copy Cat!!

I see some things on pinterest that are just TOO great not to copy. I'm a total copy cat today, sorryimnotsorry!!

Here is the pinterest version

and here is my version
I now notice I really need to re-do my bench. My papa did it for me a few years ago after I found it in the trash--who can pass up a free swing?! Not this gal.

Another Pinspiration

I'm still not sure what I want to put on this one--Maybe Fullers...maybe an F or maybe nothing--any ideas?

Fall DIY

I have been so busy today with projects around the house. I made THREE trips to hobby lobby. I just couldn't wait to show yall! PS I'm pretty sure I burnt my finger tips off with the hot glue gun, OUCH!!!
I started out with changing out my summer flowers on my porch
I absolutely loved how this one turned out. I had a little old lady in the aisle helping me pick out what to put together.

After that I made a little fall banner
This only took a few minutes to make! I found everything at hobby lobby for it. It cost about 10.00 total to make.

After that...I decided I needed something else to keep me busy. I have an old window that's been sitting by our stairs I haven't had any place to put it, it drives me insane. I'm getting a TON of new jewelry in a few days and I went everywhere in town looking for a jewelry holder that I actually like. I had no luck...so I decided I'd make the window work.
I broke the glass out and then added those hooks in the top and the knobs. This project took me MAYBE 20 minutes.
I am thrilled with it!!! My bathroom needed some character, this helped.

Show and Tell::Fall Lovin'

You guys know I don't pass up an opportunity to gush about fall--so i'm linking up over at Mrs to Mama and checking out all the other blogs that are equally as obsessed with fall as I am ;) Hope you all have a great day.

1. Tell us what you are looking forward to this fall?
What am I NOT looking forward to? Honestly! There is something about the crisp air and falling leaves that just puts my heart in its "happy" place. I love the time change, I love my husband coming home earlier. I love decorating my porch for fall and going to Maxwells pumpkin farms, I love the clothes and the boots.

2. Show us your fall style.

3. Tell us your favorite things to do in the fall. If you have children, activities to do with the kids?
I don't have kids but I do have a lot of nieces and nephews and my favorite thing to do with them is taking them to Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm. I like carving pumpkins, making puppy chow and caramel apples. Going for walks, I love fall pictures too. Shopping for fall stuff. Watching movies up in the lady loft (sans templeton) I open up the house in the fall too. That fresh breeze coming through along with the fall scentsy smells makes our house feel SOO cozy! Oh and handing out candy on Halloween, love that!

4. Show us your favorite fall beverage.
Surprisingly, I don't have one :) I mainly drink water and only water.

5. Tell us, how you will be participating in halloween this year. Plans? Costume ideas?
Every year on Halloween I make loads of junk food and watch Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic while handing candy out to the kiddos. I've not dressed up since I was in Jr. High, but I totally wish I had a good excuse to. This year the kiddos are going to come stay the weekend before Halloween with me and go to Maxwells then have a sleep over upstairs and watch movies maybe carve pumpkins and make some puppy chow/caramel apples. I'm excited!

Oh and I wanted to show yall the little DIY Project I did yesterday while my husband was working. I used up all my fall decor before I made it to my entertainment center, so for days it's just been sitting lonely. I didn't want to spend any money on it so I dug out my box of buttons, printed an F off the computer and grabbed my hot glue gun, burlap and an old frame I had.
