Birthday!!

Today is my big 2-6!
Yesterday my husband text me while he was at work and told me we were invited to his friend's niece's birthday at the bowling alley. I wasn't feeling very good so I told him i'd just let him go because I figured all the smoke at the bowling alley would just make me feel worse. However, when I got home he informed me hmm you are going. So I didn't even shower, just got off the couch and threw on a sweater and jeans and out the door we went. We pulled up and I saw my best friend with her son--so I got right out of my grumpo mood. Walked in and SURPRISE!!! All my family was there to have a surprise party for me! I didn't put it all together at first I was just kind of offended like..why would all my family come to town and not call me?? LOL! I'm a little slow on the weekends! So we all bowled and went to dinner it was a great day they definitely surprised me, I didnt expect anything the day before my birthday. Thanks family you guys mean the world to me!!

 

Today for my birthday my husband and I are spending the day together hopefully doing absolutely nothing--maybe spending some of my gift card...MAYBE. I might go buy myself a sewing machine. Hope you all have a great New Years Eve--PLEASE be safe tonight!! Our idea of a hot night out is ordering pizza and watching a movie. It's my usual birthday night i'm so exciting, I KNOW!!

Being An Aunt

Being an aunt is one of the things i'm the MOST proud of in my life. I brag on my nieces and nephews like they are my own kids--I love them like they are too. I take a lot of pride in being an aunt. It's the one thing in life that I feel like i've really nailed and it's important to me!

Whoa whoa whoa, 2 posts within a tiny tiny amount of time?! Sorry girlies...can't help myself. I have to share this! In my It's Ok post I was really bummed about not being able to see my nephews that are in town for the day. When I got to work this morning I got this text message and it just made my whoel day.

Aunt Nene LOVES you boys too. I miss you terrible.
 

Christmas Cards

I love Christmas cards, I plan ours in advance and I get down right giddy at the mailbox when I see we have recieved one. Today at lunch I was going through our mail and noticed a little envelope and my first words were TRENT!! We got our 2nd Christmas card of the season!! Then I opened it and it was a graduation announcement...womp womp! Jk I am pumped for Hilary's graduation she's going to be the best nurse. Congratulations HILARY!!!! If you are looking for a cheap, great place to order look no further. Cardstore.com--this is my first year using them. I absolutely love it. Great cards for CHEAP. I got mine for 70% off and right now you can get them for 49 cents people. They are super cute and I love how ours turned out. I ordered them just last week and they are already here. So if you haven't yet go check them out! (No I wasn't asked to do this, I really do just love our cards that much!)

Other than that I didn't do much on my vacation...not much at all actually. One of the days I had an all out Twilight marathon..then as soon as my husband came home I made him take me to see the newest one...again. I thought by this point it wouldnt be crowded but we had trouble finding a seat and ended up having to sit in the 2nd row maybe i'm getting old but it was really not enjoyable watching that close, I couldn't focus on anything!!(but lets be honest, I still loved it)

My husband got pictures like this all day long. Just wanting to prove to him that i'm baby's numero uno!
