Here is my pinspiration:
so when he got home from work we went to Home Depot and got what we needed
-4x4 post
-post topper
-post base
-another piece of wood to make the base
-eye hooks
-S hooks
-planter bracket
-Wooden plaque (Hobby Lobby)
We ended up spending about 40 dollars (actually a little more, I ended up buying 3 brackets to find one the right size, I still need to return the other two)
When we got home we got to work in the garage..by we I mean my husband cut the wood for me and I sat in my chair and watched and complained about junebugs. (seriously, they are gross)

| My trusty yellow chair. After Trent cut the base and screwed the pieces together I got to painting on it.
3rd Bracket was finally the one! I found it at Home Depot.

I busted out my trusty Cricut and the wooden plaque from Hobby Lobby and some spray paint. This was the first project ever from my cricut--so I didn't take any pictures while I was doing it, mainly because I was just praying I didn't screw it up. It's not bad for my first try--next time I know to make the letters a little bit smaller. I mean I don't know that THE is really "That" necessary lol! I just screwed in the eye hook to the plaque and hung some S hooks from the hooks that are already in the bracket because my piece of wood was just a little too small.
My head is already a buzzing for what I can do for Fall/Halloween when I switch the sign out!!
Here she is on the porch in all her glory ;)
I really, really love it!! I even potted some new plants to help my poor porch out a little bit. All my others had died...turns out I can't keep plants alive to save my life. My husband asked me to please just start buying fake plants so I would stop wasting money lol..ouch!
I lightly sanded over the black to give it a rustic feel.
This porch makes me pretty darn happy!
Oh yeah! I totally FINALLY painted my door, 6 months later lol! (look how sad that plant is haha, don't worry I planted something else in there today)
Happy 4th Everyone!! I don't have any big plans. My husband has a tournament every year on this day so Braxi and I just hang out at the house and wait on him to come home. Super exciting, I KNOW!
Be safe friends!
