9 Months

Sammy B turned 9 months old a few days ago...what! 9 months old? We are getting far too close to his first birthday. Is that allowed to break my heart just a teensi bit? It does. Time feels like my enemy lately.
So as usual for monthly pictures we loaded up and went outside to snap a few. Taking pictures of an active 9 month old is so NOT as easy as it was when he was 6 months. He was all over the place.

Little mister crawls all over the place, pulls up on everything and has his first tooth which came in the last week of August!
We have a great routine which consist of 2-3 naps during the day supper at 730, bath at 830 and bed by 9. I let him nurse until he falls asleep in bed with me then daddy takes him to bed and he sleeps all night until about 7-7:30.

He is wearing size 6-9 in tops but still just a teensi little thing around his waist and can wear 3-6 months. He does NOT like shoes but I bought him a few pairs of moccs on jane.com they have elastic around the ankle so he doesn't fight them so far. He's finally growing some hair and it is white blonde for the most part! Certain lights though I can see strawberry blonde. I'm anxious to see what color it ends up. His eyes are still the most beautiful color of blue.
He and Braxi are still the best of friends. What a relief.

Pretty much we feel insanely blessed with this little dude. He's a handful and we have plenty of days that I want to pull my hair out but it seriously doesn't matter when he looks at me with that silly smile. He's got a whole lot of personality and he has this ability to make anyone feel like a million bucks. When people see him and talk to him he just turns on his charm and they adore him..it's hard not to. I hope he always keeps that little bit of his personality. I'm sure this month will go far too fast too but we are so looking forward to his first fall! Happy 9 months my precious baby!
